Tragic Demise: Andhra Medical Student Dies in Kyrgyzstan Frozen Waterfall Mishap

A devastating incident has struck the hearts of many as a 20-year-old medical student from Andhra Pradesh lost his life in Kyrgyzstan after becoming trapped in a frozen waterfall. The unfortunate mishap occurred during a visit to the waterfall, where the student, along with four companions, encountered a tragic turn of events.

The deceased, identified as Dasari Chandu, was a second-year medical student studying in Kyrgyzstan. Reports indicate that Chandu succumbed to the icy grip of the waterfall’s frozen surroundings.

Hailing from Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam, Chandu’s family was plunged into grief upon learning of the tragic accident. His father, who runs a confectionery shop, was devastated by the loss of his son.

The incident unfolded on a fateful Sunday when Chandu inadvertently became trapped in the icy confines of the Kyrgyzstan waterfall.

In their time of sorrow, Chandu’s family sought assistance from Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to facilitate the repatriation of their son’s remains. Acting swiftly, Reddy reached out to Kyrgyzstan authorities to initiate the process of bringing Chandu’s body back to India.

As the nation mourns the untimely demise of a promising young student, efforts are underway to provide solace to Chandu’s grieving family and ensure his final journey home.
