Both gold and silver prices witnessed an uptick on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Gold futures, with a maturity date of February 5, 2024, reached Rs 61,941 per 10 grams on the MCX, experiencing a slight dip of Rs 73 or 0.12%. The previous close for gold was Rs 61,868.

Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on March 5, 2024, saw a marginal decline of Rs 34 or 0.05%, trading at Rs 70,850 per kg on the MCX compared to the previous close of Rs 70,816.
