Ambani Family Donates INR 2.51 Crore to Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Trust

Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, along with his family, participated in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, where they announced a generous donation of INR 2.51 crore to the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

The Ambanis were present in Ayodhya on Monday to witness the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol. In a statement, the family expressed the cultural significance of the sacred endeavor, stating, “This sacred endeavor, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, carries profound cultural importance.”

Mukesh Ambani, accompanied by his wife Nita Ambani and their sons and daughter, attended the event. Anant Ambani was accompanied by his soon-to-be wife Radhika Merchant, while Reliance Jio CEO Akash Ambani attended with his wife Shloka Mehta, and Isha Ambani graced the occasion with her husband Anand Piramal, Executive Director of Piramal Group.

During the grand event, Nita Ambani joyously chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and expressed her overwhelming feelings, saying, “It is truly overwhelming and I’m so glad that I am here in person to experience this…We are so proud of our Indian culture and tradition. This is what Bharat is.”

Mukesh Ambani, in an interview with India Today TV, mentioned that he felt privileged to witness the new age of India.

The business tycoon was among the select invitees to the grand consecration event, which included 506 A-listers, featuring prominent politicians, leading industrialists, top film stars, sportspersons, diplomats, judges, and high priests.

The consecration of the Ram Lalla idol was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the event was telecast live across the country. PM Modi performed a series of rituals at the temple, with the ‘pran pratishtha’ taking place during the 84-second ‘abhijeet muhurta.’
