Nayanthara praises husband Vignesh Shivan: He taught me to aim for bigger things11th January 2024
Nayanthara expressed her admiration for her husband, Vignesh Shivan, during the launch event of their sanitary napkin brand, Femi9, on January 10. The event, attended by the couple and Dr. Gomathi, showcased Nayanthara’s appreciation for Vignesh Shivan, describing him as her primary support system and commending his role in encouraging her to pursue ambitious goals.
The couple has been actively involved in various business ventures, including a partnership with Divine Foods in 2023. At the Femi9 launch, Nayanthara acknowledged Vignesh Shivan’s instrumental role.
She stated, “We often hear the phrase that there is a woman behind every man. However, it is rare to witness a man standing behind a successful and content woman. I haven’t seen that often. I have been a part of the film industry for quite some time now. I met my husband, Vignesh Shivan, during this journey. Since the day I met him, he has consistently encouraged me to strive for greater achievements. He has never questioned my decisions.”
Adding further praise, Nayanthara emphasized the significance of having a partner who challenges one to do more and exceed limits. She described Vignesh Shivan as that kind of person, pointing out that the crowd present felt like her family. Expressing gratitude, she attributed the success of the brand and the collaboration to Vignesh’s social responsibility initiative.
Nayanthara acknowledged Dr. Gomathi, the brain behind the brand, and credited Vignesh Shivan for suggesting the idea of social responsibility, which led to the collaboration.
On the professional front, Nayanthara, renowned as the Lady Superstar, recently faced controversy with her film ‘Annapoorani’ for alleged religious sentiments. She has upcoming projects such as ‘Mannangatti Since 1960’ and ‘Test.’
Director Vignesh Shivan is currently immersed in the production of his next film, ‘Love Insurance Corporation,’ featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and SJ Suryah in lead roles.
