The Kolkata-Bhubaneswar-Bengaluru flight commenced its journey from the city airport at 5:10 pm. Passengers aboard the flight reported a smooth take-off experience initially. However, at approximately 5:40 pm, during the flight, passengers claimed to have heard a bursting sound.
