Hi, hello friends, I’m Tintu Sebastian from Cochin, sharing my experience with Rohini college of engineering and technology

I had done my schooling from a nearby school. But my situations force me to join a college outside Kerala. I was much elected to leave my hometown as I add note left my hometown before for studies. This was my first experience in staying in the hostel. Initially was very afraid, firstly I having stayed at any other hostel before and secondly it’s outside Kerala.

I had heard about ragging incidents happening outside Kerala, especially for those staying in hostels. I joined Rohini College of engineering and technology with all his fear in my mind. But I should say that my experience at this college was very different. I felt it just like my home with all the freedoms at the same time whenever needed.

The hostel Warden was very polite and looks after the welfare of students. The food which is a problem in many hostels was something that was really commendable. The quality of food served was regularly inspected and menu was made according to the majority decision of the hostlers.

The college also has a very good campus with infrastructure, workshops, library, auditoriums and labs. The facilities in labs were top class. The college management conducts seminars and fest with equal importance. The facilities are very helpful and cater the needs of the students individually. They tracks and access each student and puts in extra effort to bring up those students who needs help.

RCET College also has a great placement scheme. Annually the management conducts placement drives for the students and make sure maximum placement each year.

For me personally RCET is no different from my home. It’s my home where I spent the four years of my life.
