Water level in Periyar dam stood at 131.15 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.), with an inflow of 2,607 cusecs and a discharge of 1,660 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 54.13 ft. (71 ft.), with an inflow of 1,185 cusecs and a discharge of 960 cusces. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 7,012 mcft.
