Regulation, cancellation of trains

Southern Railway has regulated several trains in September owing to line block.

Train No.56624 Madurai–Palani passenger, scheduled to leave Madurai at 7.45 a.m., will be cancelled from Sept. 12 to 20. Due to the cancellation of this train, a passenger special train will leave Madurai at 6.30 a.m. and reach Palani at 10 a.m. on those days.

Train No.56740 Kollam–Punalur passenger, scheduled to leave Kollam at 5.40 p.m. on Sept. 15, has been cancelled. Train No.76807/76808 Tiruchi–Manamadurai– Tiruchi passengers will be cancelled on Sept. 8, 14 and 15. Train No.76840 Karaikudi–Tiruchi passenger, scheduled to leave Karaikudi at 9.50 hrs. on Sept. 14, has been cancelled.

Train No.56737 Sengottai–Kollam passenger, scheduled to leave Sengottai at 11.40 a.m. on Sept. 15, has been partially cancelled between Punalur and Kollam. Train No.56319/56320 Nagercoil–Coimbatore– Nagercoil passengers will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Virudhunagar from Sept. 8 to 20, except Thursdays.

Train No.56734/56735 Sengottai–Madurai– Sengottai passengers will be partially cancelled between Virudhunagar and Madurai from Sept. 8 to 10 and Sept. 13 to 15. Train No.56734/56735 Sengottai–Madurai– Sengottai passengers will be partially cancelled between Sivakasi and Madurai from Sept. 16 to 18, and 20.

Train No.56769/56770 Tiruchendur–Palakkad– Tiruchendur passengers will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Tirunelveli from Sept. 12 to 20, except Tuesdays and Fridays. Train No.56769/56770 Tiruchendur–Palakkad– Tiruchendur passengers will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Madurai on Sept. 13, 17 and 20.

Train No.56829/56830 Tiruchi–Rameswaram– Tiruchi passengers will be partially cancelled between Manamadurai and Rameswaram from Sept. 10 to 20 (except Sundays).

Train No.56822 Tirunelveli/Dindigul– Mayiladuturai passengers, scheduled to leave Dindigul at 11.10 a.m., will be rescheduled to leave the station at 11.45 a.m. from Sept. 12 to 20 (except Sundays).

Train No.56701 Punalur–Madurai passenger, scheduled to leave Punalur at 15.30 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave at 5.45 p.m. on Sept. 15.

Train No.76840 Karaikudi– Tiruchchirappalli passenger, scheduled to leave Karaikudi at 09.50 a.m., will be rescheduled to leave at 10.30 a.m. from Sept. 10 to 20. , except Mondays and Thursdays.

Train No.76807 Tiruchi–Mamanadurai passenger, scheduled to leave Tiruchi at 10.05 a.m., will be rescheduled to leave at 10.30 a.m. from Sept. 10 to 20. Train No.76808 Manamadurai–Tiruchi passenger, scheduled to leave Manamadurai at 2 p.m., will be rescheduled to leave at 2.15 p.m. from Sept. 10 to 20.

Train No.56826 Tirunelveli/Dindigul– Erode passenger train will be handed over to Dindigul late by 115 minutes from Sept. 12 to 20 (except Sundays). Train No.16127 Chennai Egmore– Guruvayur Express will be handed over to Thiruvananthapuram division late by 105 minutes from Sept. 8 to 20 (except Thursdays).

Train No.16129 Chennai Egmore– Tuticorin Link Express will reach Thoothukudi at 10.05 a.m. (late by 95 minutes) from Sept. 8 to 20 (except Thursdays).

Train No.18495 Rameswaram– Bhubaneswar Express will be handed over to Tiruchi division late by 40 minutes on Sept. 8 and 15.

Train No.56770 Tiruchendur–Palakkad passenger will be handed over to Pollachi late by 35 mintues from Sept. 8 to 11.
